This video discusses the basics of circular motion: centripetal force & acceleration, linear & angular velocity as well as period and frequency.

⌚Timestamp
0:00 Centripetal acceleration
02:07 Period and frequency
02:50 Linear speed and angular speed
04:34 Practice question 1
06:39 Centripetal force
12:35 Practice question 2

📚Syllabus
● Conduct investigations to explain and evaluate, for objects executing uniform circular motion, the relationships that exist between:
– centripetal force
– mass
– speed
– radius
● Analyse the forces acting on an object executing uniform circular motion in a variety of situations, for example:
– cars moving around horizontal circular bends
– a mass on a string
– objects on banked tracks
● Solve problems, model and make quantitative predictions about objects executing uniform circular motion in a variety of situations

What is circular motion? What is centripetal force? What is centripetal acceleration? Linear vs angular speed.

There's a mistake at 14:46 - the radius should be 2 m, not 5 m. This would give you a speed of 62.8 m/s.
