Your contribution lives on. I forgot to run the gas line for the BBQ through the trex boards as I put them down and was facing a plumber's bill to get it re-done. After seeing your 6 year old video, I unscrewed 5 joists worth of clips on each side of the board I needed to lift to pass the flange, cut a notch and put the existing pipe in place. Took less than an hour - Thanks

It was a little more difficult to move the clips on a deck that had been around for a 'few' years, but everything worked as advertised. We had to remove a plank or two to check gas line and electrical penetrations. It all worked out well. Thanks.

So I found a slightly easier way. Slide one of the loose boards forward, then you can put the hidden fasteners back in without needing to lift the boards. Same with removal.

You don’t show how to find/attach to fastners ????

“Taking out the fasteners” is what I need to know how to do! He starts with the fasteners already loose and removed. Not helpful at all. Can anyone tell me how to loosen and remove the clips? This video completely skips the most important part.
