How does the UK government plan on tackling unemployment?

Places with the highest levels of joblessness will get extra NHS support as the government bids to “get Britain working again”.

Work and pensions secretary Liz Kendall will announce the plans today as part of wide-ranging reforms designed to tackle economic inactivity and deliver the government’s promise to bring more than two million people back into work.

She said: “To get Britain growing, we need to get Britain working again.

“Our reforms will break down barriers to opportunity, help people to get into work and on at work, allow local leaders to boost jobs and growth, and give our children and young people the best opportunities to get on in life.”

How about people like us. Who really want a full time job. But there are zero job opportunities. Everything locally that’s full time is for experienced employees like supervisors and managers. Absolutely nothing for people who are inexperienced and looking for work. I work part time, it’s all part time jobs at 20 hrs a week which is NOTHING!

Before she can get 2 million back into work, she needs to actually have 2 millon places of work. Check the official site that shows actually how many jobs are available.Last point don't waste millions upon millions of Taxpayers hard earned money on Ghost jobs. IE: Artificially created jobs that when the funding goes so do the jobs. Just my Opinion.

So all disabled people are going to be forced into work just to pay for illegal immigrants also facing benefits cuts or losing all benefits yes some disabled people are working and want to work which is great but there are disabled people who can't work being threatened and pressured into work or lose all benefits I'm disabled I have pacemaker boarderline type two diabetes epilepsy osteoarthritis arthritis and mobility problems and the government says I'm fit for work is an absolute joke I'm so scared I could or will lose my benefits

Weeee! This government has made it difficult for work places to employ a larger workforce by increasing the amount they have to pay in taxes for all their workers. Now they want more unemployed people to go to work. Who is going to employ them? Certainly not the companies who are being taxed to the max by having more people working for them.
