2025 Audi A5 interior quality check | Opinions?

What is your opinion of this new B10 platform 2025 Audi A5 interior quality?

Raised the price, removed any luxury and put in plastic interior from a 1.1 Polo.

The plastic on the key fob looks higher quality than on the steering wheel. Sad. I'll stick with my 2018 model Audi!

My 28yrs old A6 has more quality on the steering wheel alone.

Audi interior looks so cheap now, and the price is even higher! Compare this with 2013 models, very sad!

The steering wheel is so hideous! The A3 has a much better looking steering wheel, how could they drop the ball on that?!

Used to get in endless fights about which German brand had the best interior design and quality. And my answer was always Audi for the 2008-2020 models. Well, not anymore. I have a fully spec A4 2011, since new, got 311.000 km on it and the interior is SPOTLEES and over any E90 and C Klass of its time. Same with my second car, an Audi S7 2017. Best interior by far. Ive owned only Audis but if they go in this direction...Im sad to say, but I will stick to my 11 A4 and 17 S7. From the comments I understood that this will be the case for many.

I’ve seen the interior and it’s terrible. I can’t believe how lucky I am to have the last high-end A5, my 2024. Real physical buttons, none of this single pad crap, a leather wrapped, weighted shifter, actual rings on the steering wheel and not a sticker etc. I understand that Volkswagen is in trouble, but the cost cutting on the new A5 is so obvious it’s embarrassing.

I’m gonna be honest, I’m a die hard Audi fan but the whole car looks lower quality than I’d like, was my first impression when they revealed it. Reminds me too much of a Chevy or Kia. May be a sign of the times currently at VW.😢😢😢

I've been a big fan of Audi interiors. I have owned both A3 2017 and A5 2020 from new which I both loved. I can't however see my self buying a new Audi with this type of interior. I really hate capacitive buttons or other solutions where the entire plate move when pressed. The UX of knobs, scrollwheels and invidivual buttons is 10x more satisfying to use.

My A3 2017 was so so much better, test drove the 80k Q6 launch edition, same thing, cheap materials everywhere

I don't think it's reduced quality. They just made butt ugly design changes.

Just bought a 2021 A3 saloon in June, love it even more after seeing these new 2025 cars
