Side hussles have benefited me so much in saving money. I door dash a few hours every day. Make $25-$30 a day, x 7 days, that's $200 a week.

What if you are 40 or older and your time horizon is 10 to 15 years instead of 40 years?

I am
fairly new to investing, i have recently come into a sizeable
amount of money and was
thinking of some kind of vanguard (or similar) ETF (acc) for world markets .
I think this may be the safest bet, given
my amateur/ novice knowledge.
Would this be a wise move ?
Also, should i pick a
date and time to go all in or drip feed and dollar cost average my money ?
I’m looking at a 25 to 30 year investment as i want to stop work at around 67 to 70, will probably also be putting between 200 and 300 a month into my chosen fund also

Especially early on, increasing your “savings “ rate is far more valuable to grow your investments than your rate of return. If you double your savings rate, that’s equivalent to getting a 100% return on what you were investing.

This is a great video for young and older investors who are just starting the investing journey. You’ve taught us having a great foundation is a must which could be Voo or Vti but can you have a good foundation with Schd? What I’ve come to learn from you is that you would make more in the long term with Schd, now that’s a great molt to start. I understand having a solid foundation first and then adding on few more etf’s such as a cash flow and a growth to create the new three fund portfolio is key. See I’ve learned allot from you and the content you provide. I’m excited to learn more and one day reach my goals. Thanks 🙏 as always and keep on teaching my brother, I’m all ears!!!

why not the ETF SCHD ? It is cheaper and has dividend. I would like just your opinion, thanks

hola hi appreciated professorG, what is the difference, for example!!! in VOO invest 200 dollars a month, instead of investing amounts of 1800 dollars whenever possible,
Excuse me for my question, I try to make myself understood but the terms in English are very difficult for me.
In conclusion, what would be the best way to invest in an ETF, monthly or occasional, with amounts higher than 200.

Hey man! I have a question I’m currently investing with vanguard and have VFIAX. What vanguard index fund would you recommend to best compliment it? I’m stuck between small cap, VIG or VUG. Thanks I’m advance!

Thanks to Professor G, I have VTI, SCHD and SCHG in my Roth IRA. Id thought about going with QQQM but settled for SCHG because of its proven high 10-year return. This video advises I should look into VOO as a taxable stock. However, I do like QQQM or VGT as something I would like to invest in the future. But should we all invest regardless how bad the stock market is? Or do we wait until stocks decrease??

Hi Professor G! We love your channel and just started investing in VTI, SCHD and QQQM because of you! Now we are trying to review our 401ks allocations. Any thoughts? We are mid 40s and this market is cray! We just lost 4000 in a week:( Thanks for all the time spent on your channel!

Professor G!
Hello again!
I don't think I have ever heard you speak on trading stocks, forex, options, ect.
What are your thoughts about making extra $$$ learning to trade?

Should I invest in FIDELITY since I got my 401k there and my Roth IRA there too or should I invest in Vanguard since I got an open account there

How are dividends on SCHD taxed? Are the taxed like short term or long term capital gains? 💯

What about Schd & Voo? I’ve been taking advantage of the market with the lows right now. I heard Schd might be dropping as low as $60!!! Sale

I go into the office twice a week. I usually take an Uber to the train. I started walking saved 60 bucks right there.
