Those public group classes are nice, but if you're more on the introverted side of the spectrum, I recommend starting with indoor-cycling (e. g. Rouvy). You'll get more comfortable sitting on the bike before actually putting yourself out there in front of some strangers

I ride my road bike 6 months out of the year and the other 6 months I join the YMCA for $55 a month.
For that I get 3 spin classes/ week and 3 yoga classes/week. I also lift weights there.

I’ve been doing AARMY practices for 1.5 years and it is the best fitness community out there. I don’t live in NY, I visit from time to time when in town. I mostly use their app, which is AMAZING the price is just $35 a month. The content is unmatched!

38$ for one Just buy your own bike and you can join free online workouts or buy a real bike and join a group of riders, it’s free and a better workout than a stationary bike which doesn’t activates your stabilizing muscles
