So as Jordan opened their borders again I decided it was time to visit again. This time it was different and I felt different. See Jordan is a very peaceful place with friendly people how ever when I traveled here for the first time I can tell you that I wasn't that openminded so I had my prejudice. That's why I want to make more of these vlogs to show you how the world really is while still focusing on capturing the beauty these places offer. A combination of this is my dream to share with you all.

I live in one of those caves you mentioned inside Petra. It was a huge transition from western life integrating into the Bedouin community but it's an absolutely beautiful life. I love our cave and it has become home with a kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms and 2 large balconies, one indoor with a fireplace and one outdoor. Glad you enjoyed your trip to Jordan and next time you come, come have tea with us in Indiana Jones Cave our home.

Excellent video, my young friend. In 2001 my son met me in Beirut and we toured Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Petra (we only went into Jerusalem for one day as it was at the time a jihadist set-off his bomb at Sbarro's Pizza) - Petra was an unforgettable experience - we walked in but rode the horses out. From there to Aqaba, caught the high-speed ferry to Nieuba, then private-car to Sharm (my son went scuba diving with the Beirut Dive Club then again with Red Sea Divers) - from Sharm we flew to Cairo for a few days then to Paris and back home. One year later from our last night on a Nile River Cruise from the Marriott in Cairo, my son was killed. The memories are like yesterday and you have brought warmth to an old man's soul today - thank you.
