Fun fact. Dakota and Denzel have been in touch ever since they starred together in Man on Fire. She is one of his daughter's best friends and they went to college together. This is one of the reasons they still have such good chemistry after 20 years.

Even just thinking about that scene at the end of Man on Fire when Dakota is let out of the kidnappers' car and screams when she sees Creasy Bear (Denzel) waiting for her at the top of the bridge, and then starts running towards him, makes me weep so hard. Their bond in that movie was uttely amazing, and that final scene, final embrace and final conversation between them, will always be some of the most emotional and touching movie scenes to me. Seeing them reunited in this Equilizer movie is just beyond description. 😊❤😊

You're looking at two of the greatest actors that will ever live. Dakota had these chops when she was 10, and Denzel has been a powerhouse in practically everything he's ever been in. I don't think people understand how much raw talent they share between them.

When Dakota asked him “Why me?”, I was half expecting Denzel to respond; “Why not you?” The same way he did to Ashton Sanders in the gang apartment scene from Equalizer 2.

Brilliant story where everything from the past ties in. "Why me?" Well... if you've seen the prior Equalizer films and know your film history (hint: from 2004...) then you will understand why. I'm a grown dude and I cried at the end. There is still good in the world, people, not just in "reel" life, but in real life, too. Make it happen.

Denzel is SUCH a perfect actor. There’s not a FRAME in this scene where he’s overdoing or underselling. He just IS Robert Mccall.

i just finished this movie and the ending made me tear up. I didn't know she was Susan's daughter. that's why he did what he did for her this entire time. now her asking "why me" makes so much since. please make one last movie.

Nice to know this film has a nod towards the TV show still. There was an Agent Collins in the 4th season of The Equalizer back in 1989

I well remember the original "Equalizer" T.V. series with Edward Woodward, one of the best series that I ever saw. Denzel Washington may do the original justice.
