Since giving up his life as a government assassin, Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) has struggled to reconcile the horrific things he’s done in the past and finds a strange solace in serving justice on behalf of the oppressed. Finding himself surprisingly at home in Southern Italy, he discovers his new friends are under the control of local crime bosses. Really like that about Denzel's character Robert in these films. Doesn't go looking for trouble, always calm and collected and tries to actually give the bad dude's a choice and chance to do the right thing. A fairly humble man too and grounded. Then the bad dude's don't take that chance and it's the last thing they ever do and it's awesome just how easily he takes them down too and entirely justified too.
