So you're basically saying that you do two and a half hours of work per day.

A very serious question to you both, does the fact that you’re working and earning income on a tourist visa not concern you? What about tax residency clauses (180 days for example) will you declare to Vietnam or keep paying back to UK? What about border runs? Is there a chance that you could get denied for recycling too many times? (This is a real concern in Thailand)

I know that everybody seems to do it but surely this isn’t feasible long term.. a year or two max?

I lived there for 5 years and never was bored. Had a great social and work life But…. Poverty pollution heat corruption endless concrete jungle all take their toll for this mountain loving Northern California native. I miss the delicious food and the wonderful beaches and nothing else.

When you are in the city use the bts sky train it’s very cheap for 1 station to another station ( Just recommending )
