Love your Tech Talk video's Simon, keep up the great content. It's a great insight into various rules and regs within the MotoGP world. Would be good to see you out on the bikes again showing us a lap of the track at each round.

I’m serious when I say this Simon! I have been waiting my whole life, I’m 46, for these types of videos!! As a sport fanatic I always am curious about the details that we don’t usually get to see! That part about having the gravel trap 2cm lower than the track makes perfect sense! The rider gradually hits the gravel rather than straight away!
I have always wondered about things like
Do riders use bumps on a circuit to start/finish a slide?
Do riders use kerbs to kick a rear sideways to straighten out a corner?
Do riders drag their boots or their elbows as well to hold up the bike?
How good were Lorenzo’s tank additions( they were like little wings on the side of the tank)to help hold his knees to the bike as he seemed to get better with those?
I wondered about gravel slowing riders down but also making them spin over causing more injury- have they thought about just using large sections of asphalt that is super grippy or some other material so riders don’t get smashed around in gravel!
I always wondered about someone like Marc - could he adapt his riding style to any bike and be good?
What riding styles do riders have and what makes them good or bad! Eg some may love all the weight on the front or rear and how they adapt themselves?
I know current riders won’t give up their secrets but can you get a retired riders who says stuff like - I was alway coming second until I started sliding the back more or until I started two wheel drifting more or any other interesting techniques!!
I would like to hear about how you rode a superbike and what worked or didn’t work to help you go faster? Eg I only started getting faster when I slowed everything down! The slower I moved in the bike the faster I went or stuff like that! Did certain brands of bikes need you to ride differently eg Had to be aggressive on the Honda but super smooth on the Yamaha!
I could go on forever!
Keep up the excellent work

Surface grip is way more abrasive on a racetrack, than on the average road. Great look at track tech Simon. Thanks mate!

If you are standing far away from the cameraman and nobody is around you, it is ok to take off your mask, also you can use transparent face-shield, which will not cause the same problem as the regular mask does. By the way, I'm not really sure if a mask is really that efficient with prevention from Covid-19.
