The more I understood the stock market and how rigged it is, the more I felt the need to learn survival skills like making fire from scratch, building shelters, gathering non-poisonous fruits and vegetables, hunting, fishing, rearing livestock, preserving meats, distilling and purifying water, and crop rotations.
If you asked me who are the wealthiest people on earth? I'd say that it's not the bankers, not the investors, not the celebrities, not the big tech founders, but simple farmers. Afterall, how much cash, gold, or bitcoin are you willing to pay for some drinking water and fresh food when you're dehydrated and starving?
Having land that has it's own natural freshwater source with fertile soil that can be cultivated for agriculture and feeding livestock is the best resource to have in your portfolio. Second would be weapons to defend your investment. And third would be family and close friends to form a close-knit community. People have become too disconnected from nature and isolated from each other. For me stocks is a means to an end, not the final stop.
I really enjoy these videos as they keep me from getting overwhelmed, blindsided, and most importantly - slaughtered.🐖
