I love that you made this out of cheap ass hard board and zero clamps, instead of how the typical YT Woodworking influencer would have done, with "some leftover African Bubinga from a previous project", and 15 Pony Jergensen parallel clamps.

Good idea. I've been using a rectangle Tupperware container for some time now, and it works too.

I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who uses the table saw as a squaring jig! Finances limit me to a bench top bandsaw, and I keep a cheap plastic container on the table behind the saw to capture the swarf. Your project looks great and effective! It’d be great, though problematic to workout, if you could mount it slightly UNDER the rear of the table to get all the sawdust also. The downside is the bottom of the table, which typically look like a trailer park after a tornado! Thanks for another great video!

Love your "Matter of fact" videos and sarcasm when it comes to the obvious. Made a few of your jigs, has improved my skills and time management. Keep em coming. Thanks

Great little box! And thanks a lot for the tip on bypassing the trip on the SawStop… I’ve worked with hardboard before and never knew this is a possibility.

Nice. That looks like a good way to make little storage bins for tool box drawers.

Yep! Like someone else said - "Why didn't I think of that"!!! I do lots of small work and this catch box is perfect. Thanks.
UPDATE: I made this box and added a thin strip above the magnets. When I push the cutoffs, the sawdust drops into the box also. I use the box on my Scroll Saw table too. Thanks again!!!!

Great tip for the bandsaw. Very useful for cutting down dowels to plug holes or splines for miters.

Neat idea! Just one thought: if you've got fat magnets, maybe add a horizontal piece of board above the magnets and level with the tray top, to cover the gap and stop smaller stuff falling down between the table and the tray...?

Great idea. I'm doing the same thing, only using a dog food bag. It works great too.

Would it be more efficient, economical and ecological to upcyle a biscuit tin or container of desired size and glue some magnets on it?

The tray part, I knew. But @0:42 using the table for a stable 90deg holder is genius. I'm not sure why I never thought to do that. LOL
