Using Vaseline on lips actually made my lips very pigmented ... It took me whole one and half year to get back the natural colour of my lips . I've actually heard very poor reviews of using Vaseline. I heard it is even banned in some countries.

idk about y'all, but I wanted to be like those influencers and on one of the winter nights I applied Vaseline on my lips (fyi my lips weren't chapped or dry and I never applied any moisturizing product on my lips in that year) next day I woke up to extremely chapped, dry, swollen and redness around my lips😭😭 (which stayed around for like another 10 days). I have had the horrible experience with Vaseline. Tbh since that day I haven't touched Vaseline at all.

be careful to not get it inside ur eyes as it can cause eye infections specially to sensitive eyes. But it does work wonders and can be used as a makeup remover because it’s oil based !

I heard that because its petroleum Jelly that it's the type of stuff that is put on tires and that it can clog your pores. (My mom told me that and she works for a skincare company) idk if thats true but ive been using it with caution for the past few days
