(2023-2025) Toyota GR Supra 3.0 Premium Manual: Start Up, Exhaust, POV, Test Drive and Review

👋 Today we check out the all new 2023 Toyota Supra 3.0 equipped with the manual transmission! This manual Supra happens to be owned by me! I just bought the new manual Supra so lets take a full look! This Supra is finished in Nocturnal Black over a Black leather interior. There are red Brembo brakes calipers and a really cool looking set of 19in wheels! I love how clean the Supra looks in black and there is a slight metal flake. The bold lines and curves of the A90 Supra look fantastic! Really is a great looking car! The interior feels very refined since it's all build by BMW and the fit and finish feel every bit of a $60,000 car. Plenty of technology and a snappy infotainment system! The Drivers Assistant package on the 3.0 Premium gives you parking sensors, lane keeping and cruise control. I don't believe there is radar cruise in any of the manual Supras. Driving in the manual Supra is an absolute blast! Truly on of the best manual sportscars out there! The 3.0L I6 turbo engine actually makes about 400 wheel horsepower and 400 wheel torque on the dyno. And the power is so effortless and smooth. Rowing through the 6 speed manual gearbox is so perfect. Notchy shifter and just the right amount of clutch pedal feedback makes it a joy to drive! I really have no complaints with the experience behind the wheel. The manual Supra once again exceeded all of my expectations! I was almost going to buy a manual 2023 Nissan Z Performance, but for $6k more, the manual Supra just feels so much better with nothing to be desired. In fact this is still cheaper then a base model Porsche Cayman, even this the $95,000 Cayman GTS is the performance competitor to the Supra's level of performance. Just shows you how good of an engineered car the Supra is and for the money, it doesn't get better!

The Toyota GR Supra is now the only GR model on the Toyota Romania website.
The GR Yaris was sold over there, but I assume it’s sold out there, and Toyota is sadly not bringing the GR 86 to Romania.
In Romania, the GR Supra comes with the 3-litre 6cyl with 340hp/369lbft of torque and either a 6MT or 8AT. Note the European spec 6cyl Supra has 340hp and not 387 like most other markets.

I'm going to be purchasing one of these, or a new Nissan Z. I had a 2006 NISMO Z bought new, had it for 7 years zero issues. Here's my concern with the Supra; Most of the major components are BMW, and BMW is not exactly known for reliability. BMW's basically self-destruct as soon as the warranty runs out.

Do you think you'd be able to increase the sound of the pops and bangs through software? I think there was a way to do that with the auto, haven't seen anyone try with the manual yet. I know its not the point of the car, but I think small stuff like that adds character to the vehicle lol

Did you teach yourself how to drive a manual back when you were a teenager? Well for me when I was in my teens after getting my license, I always dodged driving them simply because I wasn't feeling stick shifts. But upon reaching my early 20s I actually tought myself how to drive a manual and once I got the hang of it, it was all gravy!
