Using the NIKON Z30: I love it!

I have Z 5 and I'm waiting for my Z 30 to arrive. :) 24-200mm, 40mm, 28mm from Nikon and a couple of FF Viltrox lenses so far. I'm just learning the video side and 6k or 8k cameras would be too much at the moment.

I really love taking photos of my children with my z30. The last camera I had was a D5300 and I don't miss it or the viewfinder at all

I so agree with you.
It is a heck of a camera with great features.
My only challenge is that rear screen almost becomes invisible, outside against the South Florida sun.

I have the z30 and it makes very good videos with the kit lens.
The same with the photos. And if you have the Ftz there are some very good FF lenses like the 50 1.8 and the 85 1.8.
Now some viltrox apcs 1.2 have come out with tremendous clarity

Steven, i have the z50 and all the new Nikon z dx lenses and several ff z lenses. I bought the z30 hoping it’d serve as an even smaller edc and back up camera. But like others report, in bright daylight, even with the LCD turned up to maximum brightness, i just couldn’t see the image to compose on it. Have found any tricks for dealing with this? I sent it back but i still wish i could make it work.

I have a z30 and have noticed that pictures look different in playback vs when looking at the live view, have you noticed that? Pictures seem normal when I see them later on my computer screen but in playback the colours are weird, like shifted toward magenta. Is yours the same?
