Well.. you missed the funniest part. Their manager at the time Larry Weintraub came to them and said "what are you going to call yourself?" And they said "Korn". Larry says " you can't call yourself korn". And they said "Well it's either Korn or Larry!" Haha

Holy shit, when i was in elementary school my friend told me this story of why the band was called Korn and fuckin 30 years later. It's true.

That logo was taken from the first drawing Johnathan Davis did the day he joined the band. He drew it with crayons. Been a korn fan for 28 years 🤘🤘

I'm pretty sure the toys r s thing is just a coincidence, and the reason he wrote it like that is because a lot of young kids write their Rs like that at first, and it goes with the band's recurring theme of ruined childhood innocence and whatnot (hence a lot of their album covers, which include a kid doing hopscotch, a sack doll, a kid on the swings, and a kid at the carnival).
