Seems like a huge amount of work to manually input each new word via the app settings. I can’t imagine how many words I would add to my dictionary (on the fly, from inside the text box) on my old Samsung. It was just a case of typing out, highlighting then hitting return, and boom it’s in the dictionary.

Android seems to be far more intuitive in this instance.

It doesn’t work I did exactly what you said with my email address so it can predict it, but when I go back to text somebody the predictive text doesn’t show it

Thats not easy at all, thats a PITA.. Cant i just click on the word while typing and it automatically adds it?
My keyboard does not show the words that it predicts for some reason. Im on ios 15.2..

for people who don’t know- this is a “text replacement”. (to do this you go to settings - general - keyboard - text replacement) and they probably overwrote “us” to “no we’re not”
