In this Walk’n’Talk I meet up with Paul Hudson associate professor at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. We meet on a sunny Thursday to talk about his path from engineering to biology and the challenges of synthetic biology. We discuss the urgency of finding sustainable energy solutions for the future and the future role of bacteria in biofuel production. We also touch upon the challenges of gene editing used in synthetic biology and the role we as researchers have in communicating our results.
