I just did a minute Google search. It costs $68 to take the SATs. There are test taking places where you can register for any day and take the test. Seems worth it to get access to more scholarships.

My dad made it my job in my junior and senior year to search through a scholarship website and apply for as many as i could. I got some big ones and little ones, but between that and bright futures i was able to finish four years of college without loans and only needing to pay for a few summer classes out of pocket. Some were general cash scholarships that helped pay for housing too, not just tuition!

I was homeschooled and graduated. I didn’t want to take college classes until 4 years later. I never took my ACT or SAT. And even if I had, after 4 years of not being in school, they’re not considered valid for enrollment. I had to take my GED which took me a few months but I passed with flying colors and was immediately accepted and enrolled in community college. 2 years later and I have enough credits to transfer to a 4 year university.

My entire degree would have costed roughly 40k ($330 per credit hour), but the degree was almost entirely paid for by my employer. There are so many ways around having excessive student loans.

All complaints but willing to put in zero effort, yeah that will work out well for you. Imagine interviewing either of them for a job. Quickest no ever. They live in their own reality, better become self employed.
