The gaskets that comes with this carb. consist of 2 paper gaskets and 1 metal gasket (metal plate). Did you install the metal plate or is that a adapter plate to run the square bore carb. on the quadrojet intake?

For stock applications or very mild performance this carburetor will perform well. It is not good for an engine that has a cam shaft with any long duration. If your engine doesn't produce at least 8" of vacuum you will need to spend $80 on a needle kit.

this is nothing but junk, I have mine apart many times to get it running right, no luck.
