I was in the USAF for 24 years. If it were not for programs like DEI, the military would still be segregated.

I believe the country with the most DEI initiatives is India. If a “Black” barbershop was to add DEI hiring to their business model, they would look to hire qualified barbers outside of the current makeup of those currently manning their chairs. DEI is not intended for non qualified individuals to be hired, but for employers to expand the pool of people they could choose from instead of having tunnel vision.

Hey let me ask you a question and make a statement.



Why do some people assume that DEI seems to only pertain to people of color, gays, lesbians and people who have learning disabilities when considering hiring for positions and should allow for special considerations for which they do not deserve?

Do you notice the when someone mentions DEI, no one thinks of white people? Ponder that!

I can assure that white people are hired everyday with lesser credentials and experience over their more actuated counterparts just because of familal associations, legacy appointments, or just because they're white.


No one blinks an eye 👁️ 👀!


There are three words in that . Diversity. Equity. Inclusion.


Some people equate diversity with giving those who are not qualified positions just because of their skin color or sexual identity. It simply means that you are not going to exclude someone with the required credentials because they are not the preferred hue. DEI makes sure that everyone has a level playing field.


Equity simply means that everyone should be and will be treated equally. For instance, if a job calls for certain education and experience, everyone who applies should be seen through the prism of merit, not association.

Inclusion is pretty much self-explanatory!
