Rare Drone Footage Shows Polar Bears Feasting on Walrus Carcasses

Drone footage has captured a pack of polar bears feasting on walrus carcasses near a village in far east Russia.
The unusual scene was reportedly the consequence of atypically warm weather which trapped 56 bears for days on an area of land close to the village of Ryrkaipiy.
Residents are waiting for stronger ice to form so that the animals can leave the area.
According to WWF, which filmed the footage, such a "crowding" of predators is rare.
