* 1.5 lbs green beans, ends trimmed
* 10 cloves garlic, minced
* Neutral oil (like avocado oil)
* 1 tbsp chicken bouillon
* 2 tbsp water
* 1 tbsp chili crisp (optional)
* Salt to taste
Wash and pat green beans completely dry. If it’s wet, there will be splattering oil (& burning). Pour neutral oil into a large skillet, just enough to cover the beans. Heat the oil over high heat for a few minutes until it reaches 350 F degrees. Any temp lower will cause for soggy beans. You can test a green bean if it’s ready to fry. It should start to sizzle immediately. In batches, add a handful of beans and fry until it wrinkles. Should only take 1-2 minutes.
Remove beans and set aside on a paper towel lined plate until all the beans are cooked. Remove the oil or use another skillet and add 1 tbsp olive oil and bring to medium heat. Add the fried green beans, garlic, water and chicken bouillon.
Optional, season with salt and chili. Serve with rice. Enjoy!
