My friend has come down with Alzheimer's at 76 years old and he's forgotten who he was. It's sad and scary. I don't want that to happen to me, so I'm writing everything down before it's forgotten. I love the old African proverb: "When an old person dies, a library burns to the ground." I think everyone should record the events of their life, because each life has value.
