I received a lot of concerned comments in my latest video about using pain and pleasure as a way to prevent overeating. Many of you misunderstood my video and assumed I have an eating disorder. I never had an eating disorder but I did have disordered eating which I have healed from (spoiler for the glow up diaries. sorry) There is a difference between an eating disorder and disordered eating.
• Eating disorder: mental illness
• Disordered eating: bad eating habits
I was trying to show you a way to fix a bad eating habit - overeating. I want to be very clear of the ultimate message that I will continue to spread on my platforms: Yes you should eat healthy. But don’t see it as “I’ll eat totally clean for one month, I won’t eat eat any sweets or pizza and when I have my dream body I will eat whatever I want again. See it as a From now, I’ll live healthy and happy. I try to eat clean and workout as much as possible, but I’ll be allowed to eat things like pizza and cake, too because I want a healthy life, not a healthy a month. The key to sustainability is balance, good habits and self love. Self love and self care isn't only about saying kind things to yourself..it's also addressing your problematic thoughts and behaviors, holding yourself accountable for what you do and say. (I learned this the hard way and you will see that in the glow up diaries so I'm very passionate about this message.)

I do think I should’ve shown a different clip rather than showing chicken and beans on the plate. I put a disclaimer at the bottom saying the plate of food is not an example of what to eat. I’m just trying to show that you can use pain and pleasure to not eat the entire bag of cookies. Enjoy 1 cookie and be done with it. I’m sorry if anyone with an eating disorder found the video triggering..I will be much more mindful in the future. (Also I was just trying to paint a general picture in the first 20 seconds of the video of someone who ate a lot of junk food and realized they can’t fit into their pants anymore so they try to start exercising but end up eating more junk food at night. And I did this to answer the question of why someone keeps resorting back to junk food even though they have another goal in mind.)

Procrastination is one of my biggest problem that trigger my depression.. Sometimes at the middle of the night, I just can't sleep thinking about all the things I've failed because of procrastination and hating myself for doing so.. As I watch this video it gives me courage to slowly change myself..
I will be back next month and I hope I'm way better than now.

I've just understood why we don't want to study even if high marks would make us so happy.

"This month's choices are next month's results". Exactly... life is about living in the moment whilst remembering that everything you do today will impact your future.

I really like this.

"Everything that has value in life comes from consistency; success, wealth, relationships, health and all other aspirations. But consistency doesn't mean perfection. Consistency is winning majority of the time, so for the time you fall, learn to get back on track and get used to it because there will be time when you make mistakes and that's okay. The secret is to learn to forgive yourself and try again."

Thank you, Alivia.

I spilled water on myself while watching this, and instead of getting angry like I usually would, I just laughed and then cleaned the spilled water.
It was such a small thing, but I strongly believe that was my first step to becoming a better version of myself.

Edit: Thank you so much for all the likes and comments! It means a lot to me.

Sometimes I feel people watched a different video than me.. she’s showing her journey in these videos. Its not a tutorial how to [whatever] but what she found to help her becoming a better version of herself. She’s so open about her flaws, problems, health etc. and tried to look into and explain it to us. That’s what I find inspiring about her videos.

1. Feel a certain way and feel it strongly
2. Link it to something else
3. Focus on the end. How would the pain be if I didnt do the task
4. Consistency
