Great Video! Thanks for uploading this! Planning a visit to Amsterdam next month. So can I just travel on all trams, buses, metro and inter-city trains all over the Netherlands with just my contactless visa card alone? There's no longer need to buy train or bus tickets in advance but just walk-in and walk out of the stations with my visa card? And that means there is no need for those ticketing APPs like NS, 9292, Glimble unless just for checking the schedules? Is my understanding correct? THANKS.

Are you able to buy the OV Chip kaart if you don't have a Dutch bank account or address in order to make use of the 40 per cent discounts?

I have 3 questions:
1: Can a tourist get an ov chip chipcart for 3-4 days?
2: Can you apply an o chipcart discount on a one-way temporary chipcart?
3: Will the personal ov chipcart made by submitting formats in a station be printed immediately

From my understanding - I do not need an OV card. - just my VISA / Master Card contactless and tap in and tap out would be sufficient. Is this correct ?
Is this applicatable also for trains ? eg Amsterdam to Rotterdam ?

What about - Amsterdam to Brugges via train ?

Thanks for answering

Hi! How is the cost of the joinery on GVB trams calculated when using contactless visa card? It based on distance? Or is there is fixed price? Thank you!

Thanks for the vid! Do you know if we can also use contactless for areas a little bit outside of Amsterdam central like Broek in Waterland?

I turned off after the voice said that the ferries cross the ‘Y’ River (WHY RIVER) . When of course its the IJ (EYE).

I'm still very confused... so if I do contactless pay I'll pay more than getting a card?

For rent a bike, is it necessary to have an OV-Chip card?
And to buy a 2 day's ticket in Amsterdam or single tickets for trains? Is it necessary to have it?

The public transport is pathetic . Shocking for a developed country boasting of over a trillion dollar economy. People have to travel like packed sardines with such little space n low roofs . Men's heads literally clean the ceiling of the Bus / Train. V bad Big shame
