The Walker Advantage: Steering - Responsive

Walker Mower's steering is unlike any other mower out there. It's incredibly responsive while requiring little movement to turn, thereby decreases fatigue.

I am trying to get the details on the steering. I'm assuming the two sticks are equivalent to the large ones on zero-turn mowers. In other words, they control acceleration left/right and direction forward/reverse. It's interesting that the the operator always has his hand on the throttle. Is that really necessary? I was wondering what you do if your left arm is not available.
