Ingredients for Salsa Criolla

In order to make an authentic Argentinian Salsa Criolla you will need the following ingredients:

- 1 red onion, chopped
- ½ red bell pepper, diced
- ½ green bell pepper, diced
- 2 scallions, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, peeled and seeded, cut into small cubes
- 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
- ½ cup vinegar
- 2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt

How to make Salsa Criolla

- In a bowl, add the vinegar and dissolve the salt within.
- Add the diced onions and let them soak for ten minutes.
- Mix the remaining ingredients into the bowl.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
- It’s recommended to eat after making. Store in a glass jar or container for no more than two hours before eating.
