Its funny how the tests vary depending on the manufacturer. Do people actually believe this is unbiased?

I'm a chevy guy myself but I want to see a video like this with unbiased ACTORS

I like how the camera was already on the spot where the fords tailgate got a dent. Definitely not biased and staged.

Best thing about this video are those sick ramps. Need those for my oil changes!

except this is an unfair test because ford literally designs their frame to do that to increase the flex in the tires/ suspension so that all 4 tires will still be on the ground and give you traction

The flex is totally normal. If you put an extra 2 ton in the ford's bed, it will bent more but not break. Do the same with your Chevy and the frame is going to fail because it can't handle the flex.
Your chevy is like a drill bit, flex it and it will crack somewhere.

3 Ford pickups in my garage. 2 F250's 1 F350.
And I get the GM employee discount!

my 2018 2500HD has been in the shop 4 times with big issues...

I don’t like either. But a stiffer frame isn’t stronger.

Your bed is supposed to twist from your cabin, it keeps all 4 wheels planted to the ground and avoids extreme and permanent frame bending

Nothing more trustworthy than ads for a Chevy brought to us by....Chevy.

I have to go, I’m out of Kool Aid...

I think the term "frame twist strength" applies more to this video's terrible aspect ratio.

I have a 79 Ford, and while I don't have any issues with sudden bed denting, I will say that there is enough flex to the frame that you can see the bed/cab offset just from parking on uneven terrain, like next to a tree. Does it bother me? No. Would it be better if it didn't flex? No. The frame is part of the suspension, in my opinion. It's just a great big Model T.

Who be driving there trucks like that. I live on a farm and never had to put my truck in a twist

soulr

Who the hell would actually need to put a truck like this into those positions. Chevy is just trying to find something they can win in

I'm a chevy guy but stop bragging a truck is a truck

“Why does this happen to the Super Duty but not the HD?”

Well, probably because you loosened the bolts
