F150 is a beast! 14.6 at high elevation is impressive. Wouldn’t surprise me to see it run 13.9 or quicker at sea level.

Andre running in the background before the GM vs GM race at 18:55. 😂😂 In all seriousness, great content all around, especially for trucks. Your content has helped me with buying decisions over the years, especially with the towing content, keep it up.

Now that Ford has spent more than a decade refining their ecoboost engines everyone else has serious catching up to do.

I’m getting more impressed by that Ford hybrid setup. The Pro Power feature is really cool too.

The extra drag of the transfer case being in 4hi absolutely makes a difference. Run them again in 2x

New Guy is learning this on-air thing. Kudos.

The diesel isn’t built for drag racing, but that’s the one I prefer. That 3.0 is a wonderful engine …

I think what really helped the F-150 in the quarter was the 373 gears, that my friend is what will make great time in the quarter compared to the 331

Tundra passenger: hey this V8 sounds awesome! Roll down the windows so I can really hear that V8 roar!

Tundra driver: turns up volume on the radio

A testament to the advancement in full sized trucks in the passed 10 years.

These races prove the more you spend doesn't mean better. The lower trim levels will get the job done. Great job guys!

I'd like to see a Powerboost go up against a 3.5 ecoboost. The Powerboost is obviously rated for more hp/torque, but without the weight of the battery pack/electric motors the non-hybrid has a significant weight advantage. According to the ford site my '22 Lariat weighs over 650lbs less than the Powerboost. Great video guys!

Even though truck drag racing isn’t important, it’s still cool. That being said, we all knew this outcome before the video started. Driving around town without a trailer is fun when another truck pulls up next to you.

That high elevation changes things for sure. Diesel was the most surprising showing. Little duramax shows it’s got enough pep.

Even though I am a 35 year now retired Toyota Master Tech, I have been a Ford truck guy since I bought a used 89 2wd F150 in 1990. It was an inline 300 6 cyl. It was a decent truck even if only with the 300 and man trans. In 92, I traded it in for an F250 4wd with a 351M, auto. I lost that in my divorce in 2004. I then bought a 2004 F250 Xcab 4x4 longbed with the infamous 6.0 diesel, I never had an issue with it at all. I now have an 2018 F-150 4x4 with the 5.0. I love it! I had an SCT BDX tune on it in POWER mode (high test fuel only) until the fuel prices went way up. Near 80 more HP and 120 ft lbs of torque at 3500 rpm! It was breathtaking. I owned muscle cars back in the day, and the performance with that tune on it was amazing. FORD trucks are the BEST!

The tundra run 2 races before taking on the powerboost, could that have affected its performance. I don't know how battery power drops after such drag races though.

Toyota may have fudged the power and torque numbers just a little on the new Tundra lol!

Love my Powerboost, but the biggest lesson I got from this video is that my guy Andre runs quite awkwardly 😆. 18:55
