How to manually install Zotero Word processor plugin if Zotero toolbar is missing in Word

The Zotero Word plugins will be installed automatically into Word for most users. But if after installing Zotero you cannot find the Zotero plugin or toolbar in your Microsoft Word or if the Zotero toolbar suddenly disappeared in Word kindly watch this video in order to manually install or restore the Zotero word processor plugin.

Great video but lots of reptition. It should take fews minutes to get the information across. Anyway, you offered vital solutions but you can also try this and I hope it will work for you and others as well: Ms word< file < options<customize Ribbon<Developer<Add Zotero.dotm (from file).

Please help. When I download PDFs directly into Zotero, the in-text citations are correctly formatted as author name plus year. However, when I use the Zotero Connector to capture PDFs, the in-text citations show the article title plus year. I would like to change this so that all citations are consistent in the author name plus year format in microsoft word. Could you please provide me with guidance on how to resolve this issue? Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
