I'm not a Linux power user but I do programming pretty often and after a lot of distro hopping, finally found my way on POP OS, IMHO best GNOME implementation on Ubuntu Based distros. It uses 800-1.1gb RAM but it worthy in my case, no distraction, very productive, good performance, no cooling issues, no tearing, and bloatware free. I've tried most popular DE and deepin or stock GNOME are pretty good. I would've taken deepin DE instead, but I feel more comfortable using an Ubuntu Based distro and handling unofficial support of deeping DE is not my taste. Thanks for your review.
