See inside Tangled at Six hair salon on Staten Island

For 12 years, Andrea Di Falco has worked as a hairstylist for other salon owners.
“I’ve always worked for other people, and I’ve always wanted my own thing -- but not where I was managing other people,” she said.
After working in seven salons -- and later from home just cutting and coloring family and close friends’ hair -- Di Falco heard about Sola Salons, a franchise that includes 29 individual studios in Port Richmond.
That’s when she opened Tangled at Six. The name, she said, is combination of the Rapunzel movie, and that fact that she took studio No. 6.
“It’s still a little scary,” said Di Falco of owning her own salon, which she opened in February. “But it feels really good.”
