I used to sing this with my best friend when we were younger and we would cry about our problems. Last year she killed herself and when we were younger she had always sang to me “let’s stay together always”. I miss her and I wish we were together now.

God this was the first anime I've EVER watched. It was great introduction into my long running spiral of other anime I would watch. It was amazing, and I almost cried when it ended. I will never forget the amazing adventure (and feels) I had while watching Fruits Basket, and I recommend it to everyone. ^_^

I watched this show not too long before my mom died unexpectedly 8 months ago. Honestly, it gave me so much strength. I had Tohru to look up to. As stupid as it may sound since she's a fictional character, I was determined to be strong just like she was. I'm so glad I had this anime in my life at the time I did.

I had a friend back in 06 that recommended this anime to me. She would always talk to me on messengers like aim and comment on MySpace. She even invited me to go to movies or the anime expo but I felt it wasn't my scene. She died a couple of years after that at the young age of 23. Reminiscing my dumbass realized she had a crush on me. Today March 2021 I've watched the first episode and the girl reminds me a lot like her. I will finish this anime in her honor even though I feel regret. RIP old friend.

I dont think anyone recognized this but notice how in 0:46 hatori is looking out of the window while its snowing, and you might not think of anything when u see it, but notice how everyone is looking out while its spring or summer. Well, remember when hatori's lover was with him and asked what happens to snow after it melts? Well I think after she left him, spring never came to him again since she was his spring and that he would always live in a cold empty world without her by his side🥺 after just realizing this now, I feel like crying.

I forgot this opening and still love it. Meredith and Laura sing this together. You can hear Laura's Tohru in the song. Just think, Laura Bailey was 19 when she was in Furuba, now she is 35 if I'm doing my math right.
