Notion is shaking. I was actually waiting for this both in Microsoft and google. It's too cumbersome to transfer between platforms

Looks more like Dropbox Paper to me with no more than very modest enhancements. They're not going to use Docs to try catch up to Coda or Notion because quasi-database features would confuse existing users. That's what the beta and US only Google Tables product is for.

Would not trust it. Google is known for abandoning or closing their products. Either this will end up terminated like most of their products or they will forget that it exists like Docs and Sheets that have not been updated for a decade and lack basic features.

They'll just kill it in a few years, after introducing Google Platform, Google Chalkboard, Google Shoebox, Google Organizer, Google Zettel, and Google Panes, all of which will be some variation of this and which will all be on life support by then, to be replaced with Google
