I just purchased my PC. However I still have the standard 5 GB of space which I'm constantly reminded of. I just want to transfer what's in onedrive's recycle bin to an outside storage device (usb or CD). It doesn't allow me. In addition I wanted to purchase more storage space but then its telling me I've exceeded that (5gb) and can't purchase the 100 GB.

Sir thank you for your help,
Can i ask ;
(i) If I click "Free Up Space", does that delete any of the files up in the Onedrive cloud?

(ii) If yes, is will it only be stored in the recycling bin of my Onedrive?

Many thanks sir

One drive is literally the WORST thing ever. My brain is fried from trying to figure out the storage thing because I cannot send or receive any emails at all. I sure as heck don't want to pay for more storage either. Never had to pay for me to have access to emails ever in my life until now. I am sitting here trying to back everything up so that I don't lose anything. Is there any way to disable one drive so that it doesn't effect your emails?
