Incredible to watch. Even if he lost the position in the end it doesn’t matter, he fended off Hamilton way longer than anybody would have expected. I feel like the discussions about whether or not he’s actually F1 material were becoming more frequent and he’s started making his case last week. Credit to HAAS as well for the improvements they’ve made on the car.

I like how he disagreed with his team in a calm manner. Most other drivers would just lose their sh** and get riled up. Well managed. Obviously Haas felt they weren't in the position to risk it all. A few more races like that and they will be more willing.

A Mercedes fighting a Haas…

Brilliant team work for both drivers of Haas. I really like how Magnussen matures. His driving is far more professional than it used to be.
Schumacher seems to be pulled up by Magnussen as well and gained a lot of confidence lately.

This team can really do the job with a competitive car this year

So mature, so perfect. He drove like a champion trying to get his second title. This is what we expect with his talent. I remember Senna at Monaco 1984 and with Mansell 1992 . Fierce competition and a spectacle for the audience.
