Have you considered contacting Kitchenaid to replace the oven. Your particular machine may be defective as far as calibration/temperature calibration is concerned. I hope it’s not a common issue. Kitchenaid is usually a reliable brand.

Try thawing them first and use the basket it will take off at least 10 mins and you wont have to flip them

why are you on air fry?? try broil , your bottom burners aren't necessary since you have them blocked

Id rather bbq much faster i have this air fryerr and have never even used it
