Persephone and Demeter also used to Goddesses of Death along with Poseidon in Mycenean Greek. Hades was introduced during the Greek dark ages before the classical Greek myths.

So many people on youtube oversimplify it, Hestia means "fire place" or "home" in that sense, Greek gods are contributed with flaws that can be found in humans too yes but they are mainly representing *ideas*



Other examples, Zeus' name means "coupling" or"unification" in Greek he is something like the cratel of life or the life force that combines with everything and creating something new.



That's why he is depicted to have sex with other gods (ideas remember) and produce new ideas (gods or demigods <-- demicods are simpler and/or inferior in terms of scopre or generality ideas)



or Zeus and Hera werent "brothers" in human terms the ideas they represent come from the same primordial sources Chronos (which means time in Greek) and Ρέα (flow) so they were generated through the time flow (maybe a similar idea to big bang now that I think of it lol)

Now to your video Nyx (Meaning "Night" in Greek) is the primordial for you guessed it right .. Night (As in a blackhole something that has light -cause nyx with Erebus give birth to light but that's an other story- but doesnt blast it outwards)

And Erebus primordial for darkness but as in the depth of e.g think of space without the stars etc its not about the absense of light but the vast domain that exists within that darkness is son of Chaos (in greek it means the same as in english) and Ghaia (ghaia is earth) so space is made out of unknown/nothing/chaotic state and matter.

And now the other two you mention are not gods but daemons, daemons are not ideas they are inferior maybe more inferior to heroes as well certainly inferior to demigods.

Daemons represent more practical things e.g Keres where the bad things that put an end into ones life in a violent incident such as a battle, so the bad things you feel fear, bleeding, pain, cold

As for Macaria is probably BS and had nothing to do with greek mythology, there is only a byzantine reference (so in Christian times) and probably has more to do with the Christian saying Μακαρία η οδός (blessed the path) or just Μακαρία/Μακάριος which means is an adjective orthodox Christians give to dead people.
