I would suggest attacking a 1-3-1 half court or even full court trapping defense with a simple 2-1-2 offensive have 2 off players where def has 1 in front and back of 1-3-1 zone AND you only have 1 in middle where D has 3. More where they have less; and less where they have more. Too many off players in the same vicinity as def players plays right into def hands as they can adjust to close bodies and swarm more easily creating what some might call a match up-zone where you can match up man to man in certain sections of floor but zone up others at same to this is 2 guards up top; make the point defender commit or be active chasing down ball side to side [tiring him out somewhat] between 2 off guards up key is the off player you would put in the middle where 3 def are spread would use my small forward let's say; who is big enough/ athletic enough to receive pass and "go get it"; who then spins immediately and drives towards hoop; many/most times creating a 3 on 1 or 3 on 2 at worst IF weak side def gets back quickly as he is not involved with trap of ball that wb currently in some form of higher post {top of key pick setting {whether good or bad picks; possibly moving picks 2 off players spread out along sideline/baseline areas; can come up/cheat up to offer relief by receiving pass; and preferably taking the ball baseline to the help make the coach we know; and with good aggressive minded players who adhere to the "make them pay" theory of breaking a press {zone or otherwise} will be the best way to blow up the want to trap? Make them pay with a fast breaking attack to want to only leave 1 guy back? Have 2 or 3 off players charging them with remaining D chasing.
