Batman always thinks “if I kill one guy, that makes me just as bad as a guy who’s killed countless people.” He’s an idiot. Jason thinks “if I kill the guy who’s killed countless, then I’ll be the true hero. A crime for a crime, yet helping it decrease through fear.” Jason’s got the street smarts while Bruce is a loner rich kid with trust issues and depression and PTSD. Jason grew up without anyone since he was a… toddler?? Can’t remember exactly when. But he’s had more experience in the streets while Bruce was in the safety of his own giant home with Alfred. Jason learned at a young age not to trust anyone, not even his own mother, and that if you want to get by, you have to take what you can. Bruce learned to use others and that not everything is handed to you; you have to search for the clues yourself.

This was the moment i stopped liking Batman as much as i used to. Red Hood is defo my fav DC character. I understand why Batman doesn't kill its not for justice or anything but simply because he's scared he will enjoy it and take turns for worse. But still after what Joker did and what he did to Jason who considered Batman his family was just straight up annoying.
