i own one and luckly is under warranty . after 7year my transmission was K-O . so Chrysler Dodge change it and took about 3month . now it drive like brand new

They should be serviced at 60 thousand miles, regardless of no dip stick. It's easy to check using the oil dip stick.

Hi I have 2011 Routan its ran great until it started cranking but turn on sometimes I think its fuel pump. Is there a way to check fuel pump is working?

These transmissions dont like multi vehicle transmission fluid, they require atf+4 ..

Hi I don't hear anything but normal sound and transmission not slipping but I would like to check transmission fluid how can I do this? I did check with code reader and PO740 came up.

Just use the engine oil level dip stick to check the tranny fluid level.

I'm looking at buying this same van 2010. He says drove fine no issues one day parked it and then it wouldn't start because the transmission sensor says stuck in drive. I've read up on it but would like your opinion it only has 130000 miles and they are asking 1200. What do you think it could be and is it worth a shot to buy it

Pump, under drive clutch...and probably valve body.

Hello everyone, I have one of these 2012 VW Routan SE, don’t know if I should call it that Or a Chrysler, Anyway it’s doing the same exact noise same exact problem with the transmission except that it drives when it’s cold only for the first 20 minutes than transmission fail to shift, it’s paid off, is it worth it to fix it ? Or just get rid of it ?It seems very difficult to get answers from transmission places
