Today we're going over the drifting aspect of CarX Drift Racing Online. Mainly focusing on drifting with a steering wheel. Some of the tips also apply to keyboard and controller drifters. We go over how important car settings and wheel settings are. I will also be showing you some easy to drift with cars for wheels. Also couple of bad drift cars that you should avoid on steering wheel with No Assist.

i have more tips for new people:
1. dont start with 900 degrees start with 360 or something low and work your way up and get more comfortable with your wheel
2. if you cant drift that good because your FFB is very high, lower it and do the same with the wheel and find your sweet spot
3.practice makes perfection. like a wise goose said if you practice you will get better and if you practice daily yow ill get better overtime
4.dont go into online until you feel like you have gotten good enough. there are practice TANDEM gamemode where you tandem with yourself
5.dont be a silly goose and copy others tunes. make your own and build it up (like goosiest said in the vid)
6.USE YOUR BRAKES. dont abuse your handbrake use left-foot braking (please)

in my opinion I find the S15 my favourite car to drift in, it's super smooth, it quick enough to catch up to people but not too fast, you easily do 360's if you wanted to, it can do the ebisu jump like a pro

Practice makes you better at everything. When I first bought the game like a year ago I couldn't go in a corner without oversteering. Now I am a lot better, even with using the S15 I am a lot smother! Practice people!

The Consult GT is probs my fav car to use at the moment, custom tune has just over 797 hspw, but with minor tweaks, it runs like a dream even for slower more drawn out drifts

Your comparing 0 ackerman with assist and 0 ackerman with no assist. Which is 10° of ackerman irl. Just look from top down itll show the outter wheel scrubbing an limiting your angle. Which will result in pulling you into the corner instead of the outside of the corner. I feel like this was a review of everything I've done on my Channel. It's true e30-e36 was bad. The e36 is now somewhat fixed which I can provide the tune for you to try. I can agree with everything except for some stuff on ackerman but that'll always be up for debate. SEATTIME IS EVERYTHING. With regards to Ackerman, it will have the same effect regardless of input device just you won't be able to over rotate with the steering assist. But regardless you will get a HUGE amount of scrubbing on your front inside wheel (why you can see it leaving skid marks all the time) which will hurt your momentum. Ackerman is dynamic toe, toe angle that increases with steering lock, 0% is a very unrealistic amount of dynamic toe.

But at the end of the day, whatever works just roll with it

I thought I already knew all the ins and outs of drifting, but damn because of this video I started using 0 Ackerman and guess what, I finally linked an entire track without failing my drift once!! The thunderstrike really is an amazing car.

I also got my first gold on a track (springstone)

Thumbs up for the magic, also I agree with the Thunderstrike/Charger RT being a great drift car in the game for all ways people play. I recently tested a drift edit on my channel with the Thunderstrike using controller. Wasn't my cleanest drift but maybe I'll post more over time.

the point about "your own tune" applies to many many games
for example my fav car in Forza is the Caterham 7 r500 that i tuned myself, 0-60 in 1.7 seconds, 800 hp in a car that weighs 500 kg because that makes perfect sense

Ackerman does the same thing for every input device. it's just that's there's a magical assist for controller and keyboards that holds the car back when it nears max angle, and when combined with lots of caster and little Ackerman you just can't spin the car.
In the beginning this assist could be turned off in the Android game, it can't be on PS4, pc I have no idea.

Bro love your contents, I guess the issue is with me, after watching this video 10 times, I still cannot get it. ( Am I stuped!?) May car is spinning around even on 360, all the time. Only when I drop the Ackerman to 0 I can slide a bit, just a bit and again spinning around, when I have the Whee as Controller, I smash it but in reality it's like first time I see steering wheel and racing game in my life, In Assetto Corsa, GT sport, the same there!
