Thank you for such a well-done video. I used your instructions to replace this board in my A12. Interestingly, this seems to be a very common problem with this particular phone. It makes one wonder what could be the cause of the failures? A guy in an online Samsung community conversation about this very issue said that a guy at a phone repair shop in Hong Kong fixed the problem on his phone by replacing a particular transistor on the board, and said that this is a very common and frequent problem.

Good video. I didn't have a plastic separator, apparently called a spudger, so I used my thumb-nail. I am not liable for any damage or injuries caused by that advice.
I also didn't unscrew the panel around the cameras nor disconnect the fingerprint cable. I just was careful not to pull them far from each other....I am no liable for any damage or injuries caused by that advice.

Excellent! Thanks for the video. Was looking into the feasibility of a self-repair. Having issues with my port constantly saying USB connected then disconnected, killing battery since phone cant enter sleep mode. Found my port was damaged. Now I can replace with confidence.

The board shown here, and also the board in my phone is labeled 02D. Will a board labeled 02C still work fine? The one linked to doesn't ship to the US but I see a similar board on ebay also labeled 02C
