Last Christmas, I made for our son and our daughter's boyfriend, a wooden padlock, which is in fact a puzzle. In this episode, I'm sowing how I made it.

Dear Alain,
Another wonderful little Christmas gift that will get all the family member's noodles a work out. Some will decipher the sequence of pieces faster than others, for the few unfortunate ones locked in confusion ( pun intended), you may very well get a call for assistance. A great & original present that will bring fond memories of times past. very well done. Kind regards.

You're absolutely fantastic and should put your name on the padlocks instead of that guy's name- Noel 😂😂😂

Having a wooden lock is nice if you forgot the key, you can always open it up with firestarter.

Who is this Noel guy? He seems to get an awful lot of christmas presents from everyone.

So when do you make that wooden ski doo christmas puzzle Alain?

I had to take some time to do some work stands for my canoe project. It's coming along but kinda slow at moment. I have learned a fair amount and have idea of how to make my next one. Inside of a one person sailing canoe a two person which kinda looks like a small sloope than a canoe with the back cut off( this will be due to limited space to build said canoe) thin tri hull design with few ribs and removable dagger board cause it's to be sailed on shallow streams, creeks, rivers, ponds, lakes etc. Simple tiller but with i think a sliding seat for rowing I think.. Meh i have yet to work out the details. I also have idea for a light skin on frame hybrid for those creeks with lots of portaging as they are light but need to have a sturdish bottom.
