Presidential alert sent to 75 percent of the country

A new national presidential alert system sent out its first test Wednesday. After reaching 75 percent of the country, it quickly became a moment on social media, generating jokes and memes. CBS News correspondent Anna Werner explains.

Every complaining about this test alert really pisses me off. If an accident did ever happen and people had to evacuate, the people who didn’t get the alerts would be in trouble. Thankfully it was tested so now they can work on making it work better.
