SOLO Female Buslife 'Winter is rough'

Snow is falling in central Oregon, so I'm trying to survive winter alone. Turns out things are a lot harder without my partner.

It's not winter yet! Got to wait for the equinox, and then the daylight gets longer again!

Here in Texas, it's been cold nights 3C and now a little warm spell with cloud cover and humidity at 20C overnight.

I’m from Oregon, lived in Bend 10 years. I’ve driven that mountain in a blizzard more than once. But… Winter there is so mild compared to the Northeast chill to the bone, which is where I am now. You’ll be fine. Your bus should always have the ability to sustain without plugging into power. That’s how you travel. Plugging in is a luxury. Ps I also hate Florida, it’s a nightmare down there!

It’s like-20 where I’m at… I’ll take Oregon weather over where we are… it gets dark by 330 pm & daylight at 930 am… SUCKS!

I live east coast Florida 2 miles from the ocean and I hate Florida. It is hot, humid, and gross 9 months out of the year, I personally dislike hanging out on the beach, drivers here are idiots, homeowners/ hurricane insurance is insane, and cost of living is no bargain anymore, its expensive like the rest of the country. I lived on the west side of Puget Sound in Washington for one year and I would take the PNW any day of the week to FL.
