new color-bass technique just dropped

And just as I am uploading this I realize this could also work really well with sending MIDI to Serum-FX set to peak/bandpass mode like Au5 showed in one of his most recent videos. I might have overcomplicated things here haha but I like the way it sounds :)

Download the folder from the "VR Ableton Racks 2024" post, should contain all the project files shown here.

This feels like the DAW equivalent of building a computer inside Minecraft

So sick. Effectively recreating colour plugins from scratch and generating a ton more versatility due to having fine control of all the working parts. APPROVED 🌈

Clever, it's like skipping the step by doing it additively.

I don't make (or really like) dubstep, but I find tutorials interesting because the sound design approach is like a breath of fresh air from resampling reese basses a million times 😂

P.S. pro-tip: don't neglect your notch filters, they're underused and cry when they're lonely 🙃

They should use that dynamic EQ resonator as a benchmark at Ableton

Now, I think I can see all the modules added to a track are like legos. Kinda fun.

I know that it may sound boring, but i really think that the next step here is to get hands dirty with code, if anyone is interested check out JUCE, is a c++ framework that allows you to make your own plugins, it may sound complex, and it is complex, but now we are talking about infinite possibilities that can work with any DAW (without cooking your cpu)

All this should be made into a cpu efficient vst or max for live patch.

14:55 is the best atempt at comedy coming from germany I've heard in a while. Jokes aside, this is awesome and I'm certainly going to experiment with this stuff myself!

Yo! More of these man! Quick and easy for you to upload and helpful for us! Definetly keep these low-key uploads as a regular thing along with the more fleshed out studio time episodes!

I think we all need more of that polyrithm stuff

I’ve been playing around with the racks for a few days now and I can confirm that these are extremely CPU Intense. I got my first Ableton Crash 😂😂 and everytime I try to add or delete FX it takes ages 😅 (although I have extremely powerful hardware)
