For those interested you can buy an experimental high wing called a kitfox for about 22, 000. Most of the cost for a plane is maintenance and storage. Not only do the wings fold but being experimental means you can make your own modifications to it without a long approval process.

That looks very similar to a Cessna 150, or some kind of early similar model. And you can buy a “Fully functioning” Cessna 150 or 152 for 18.000 USD, say 20-25 for specifically Alaska. Maybe it’s looks are deceiving and it’s a much higher power aircraft.

Looked up the registration and exact model, it’s exactly what I thought, but he has a specifically more powerful version, averaging about 95k for sales. But maybe his has some nice interior or something.
